Xaperone platform

Llama immunization: We immunize llamas with purified protein, with cells expressing your target or by genetic vaccination to induce an in vivo matured humoral respons against native conformations of your protein of interest.

Xaperone identification: We generate diverse panels of in vivo matured Xaperones that facilitate the crystallization of your protein of interest. We identify Xaperones that selectively stabilize native conformations of your target. We store immune libraries that can recurrently be screened for Xaperones with newly specified properties.

Structural Biology platform

Protein purification: We purify stable Xaperone-protein complexes. We support purification process design from crude extract to highly pure (labeled) Xaperone-protein complexes for crystallization and NMR. We provide selenomethionine enriched Xaperones.

Protein crystallization: Our lab is fully equipped  with liquid handling and nanodispensing crystallization robots for high throughput Xaperone co-crystallization screens and condition optimization. 

X-ray crystallography: We screen crystals and collect data on our in house X-ray generator. 

Bio-NMR: Our lab is outfitted with Varian’s latest-technology 600 and 800 MHz spectrometers, equipped with a salt-tolerence cryoprobe for biomolecular applications.
